KeyWord Kove’s first #1
Thursday, June 17th, 2010Two nights ago I put up a new blog, The KeyWord Kove Blog. I look for hot keyword searches and write up a blurb or short article on the subject. Keywords are used by the search engines to determine the most relevant information to return for a given search. One of the words that I found had been referred to earlier in the day on a forum post that I had read. I did the post last evening. When I looked at my traffic logs for the new blog today I notices a Google search that had resulted in a visit. I followed the link TO THIS GOOGLE SEARCH. It is on an international version of Google, but the post was returned in the number one spot:
The KeyWord Kove is an experiment in the power of keywords. The blog is less than 48 hours old and located on sub-domain space. The post was less than 12 hours old when the search that returned the KeyWord Kove article was carried out.
If one has any doubts this should be a strong indicator of the power of keywords. I will be interested in further developments, and I will keep you informed.
